Introduction to monitoring
You can use Monitoring to determine individual process instances and analyze their weak spots. To do so, you can search for specific critical process instances, analyze alarm value deviations, set up an Early alert system for selected processes, and identify outliers. Functions to monitor your processes are provided in the Instance controlling module.
Prerequisite: The Instance controlling module is available only if your PPM license includes the Instance controlling module and you have the Monitoring function privilege.
The Instance controlling module provides all functionalities and tools required for monitoring your processes.
The following illustration shows the monitoring analysis results of the process cycle time from the order processing area. The speedometer chart shows that the planned value defined has been exceeded and the current measure value is in the "red zone". PPM also displays the process cycle times of individual process instances in a table and the progress of the associated activities as a progress graph.
