Introduction to interaction analysis

Use the Interaction analysis to obtain an overview of activity and communication structures within your company. The Interaction analysis evaluates your business processes based on information about executive organizational units by analyzing the relationships of organizational units between each other, between organizational units and activities, or relationships between activities.

PPM explores both the relations between organizational units and employees, and the connection between organizational structure and process handling. In addition to the relation and its source objects and target objects, you can select interaction-specific measures and dimensions.

You cannot analyze function measures and dimensions in the Interaction analysis. Instead, depending on the relation you set, measures and dimensions of the selected relation are available in addition to process measures and dimensions.

The Interaction analysis analysis realm provides all functions and tools required for running your interaction analyses.
