Exclude organizational units from the calculation of measures
In source systems, certain steps can be performed by means of batch processing utilities and batch users. Batch users are not human processors, but virtual users required to run the batch processing program. If you do not want batch users to be included in your measures, you can exclude them from measure calculation. For example, the 'processors' concerned are then not included in the calculation of the Number of processors measure.
Prerequisite
You have the Organizational unit management function privilege.
Click PPM > Administration.
Administration opens on a separate tab.
Click Organizational units in the Administration bar.
Display the Base tab bar.
Click
Edit.You can now edit organizational units.
Select the organizational unit you want to exclude from measure calculation or create a new organizational unit.
Enable the Ignore during measure calculation check box.
Assign all processors that you want to exclude from measure calculation to this organizational unit.
Click
Save.
Your settings are saved in the PPM database.
If your system uses Autosave mode, the Save button is not available. In this case, your settings are automatically saved to the database.
