Storage mode in PPM

Depending on the database used in your PPM installation, the settings you specify in PPM are either transferred directly to the database, or you need to confirm the transfer manually.

Automatic storage mode

Your PPM settings are transferred directly to the database. Therefore, Save Save is not available. For example, this is the case with DB2 databases and SQL server databases.

Manual storage mode

To transfer your settings to the database, click Save Save. You can specify multiple settings, then save or discard them in all. For example, this is the case with Oracle databases.
