Assign users to organizational units

You can assign additional processors to user-defined organizational units.

Prerequisite

You have the Organizational unit management function privilege.

Procedure. Procedure

  1. Click PPM > Administration.

  2. Administration opens on a separate tab.

  3. Click Organizational units in the Administration bar.

  4. Display the Base tab bar.

  5. Click Edit Edit.

    You can now edit organizational units.

  6. Select the organizational unit to which you want to assign processors.

  7. In the Processor box, enter the name of the processor you want to assign to the organizational unit. After entering each name, press Enter. The names must be entered precisely as they occur in the source system.

    Every processor can be assigned to one organizational unit only. To change the assignment of a processor, you must first delete the existing assignment.

  8. Click Save Save.

Your settings are saved in the PPM database.

If your system uses Autosave mode, the Save button is not available. In this case, your settings are automatically saved to the database.
