Error handling
If you select the Delete project including process data option, the process data of the project will be deleted first, then the project and the process type (process type group) including the process access rights for the process type (process type group).
If an error occurs when deleting a project and process type, this step is rolled back and the project is set to Error deleting status. In all error cases, an error message is issued and the error details are saved in the corresponding project log file. In addition, a Repair deletion button is displayed that you can use to trigger the synchronization of the PPM server and the analysis server.
The Process Mining configurator differentiates between different project statuses:
If the project was in status Successful, the project is set to status Error deleting. You must click the Repair deletion button before you can proceed with the Process Mining configurator.
If the project was in status Incomplete or Configured, you must repeat the deletion of the project. Only if the error occurred during the deletion of a CSV file in the database, the status is set to Error deleting. After the repair of the deletion has been successfully completed, the status is set to Successful for projects that were in status Configured and to Incomplete for projects that were in Incomplete status.
Once the repair deletion has been completed, you must repeat the delete action.
