Insert shared favorites as links in your export definition

You can insert favorites as a link in new or existing export definitions.

This means that you do not save the query of the favorite in the export definition, but the path and ID of the favorite. Upon running the export definition the current query of the favorite identified by the path is displayed instead of an embedded query.

Procedure. Procedure

  1. Click PPM > Configuration.

  2. Click Export definitions in the Configuration bar.

  3. Create a new export definition or open an export definition that you want to edit.

  4. Display the Base tab bar.

  5. Click icon_favorite_leaf_link Insert favorite as a link.

  6. Click Save Save.

The favorites are inserted as links in your export definition.

Favorites inserted as a link cannot be changed into queries later. Existing queries of favorites cannot be changed into links later.
