Search for process instances

Search for process instances with particular criteria in your database.

With a process instance search, you can search selectively for process instances that meet particular criteria. To perform a process instance search, search dimensions must be defined in your configuration. These are special dimensions for the process instance search.

Prerequisites

Search dimensions are defined in the database.

Procedure. Procedure

  1. Click PPM > Modules > Instance controlling.

  2. Display the Base tab bar.

  3. Click New document New.

  4. Double-click Process instance search.

  5. Specify your settings and click Finish.

As soon as you exit the wizard by clicking Finish, the process instances identified are displayed in the analysis area of the Instance controlling module. All editing options of the process instance table are available.
