Assign process criteria

On the Assign process criteria page, you can assign process criteria to the individual data columns.

Process criteria are used to create processes. That is, a row of the process data table defines a function by function name, process ID, and sort order, among other things. All functions with the same process ID belong to the same process instance. Additionally, the sort order specifies the order of the functions within the process instance.

You must map the required process criteria in the following order:

  • Process ID

The assigned data column must be of type Text . Otherwise, the data type of the column is changed automatically. The process ID is mapped to the process dimension Process identification (ATID). It is only available in the process instance list.

  • Function name

The assigned data column must be of type Text . Otherwise, the data type of the column is changed automatically. The function name is mapped to the function dimension Function.

  • Sort criterion

The assigned data column must be of type Time . You can change the data type manually on the Configure detected data types page. You can select the function start time or end time as sort criterion. The lowest values for Function start time and Function end time is mapped to the function dimension Function time.

The following process criteria are optional:

  • Function start time or function end time

You can optionally assign the unselected sort criterion to another column of type Time .

  • Function ID

The assigned data column must be of type Text . You can change the data type manually on the Configure detected data types page.

You can remove all assignments by clicking on the X icon of the criterion. The removed criterion can be reassigned.

The mapping is complete if all data fields are either assigned or appear in the list of criteria to be ignored.

You can assign more than one criterion to one column.
