Iteration
Iteration is the incremental calculation or analysis of a measure via the value range of a dimension. The value range is divided into dimension steps.
Example: The Time dimension can comprise a value range of 1 year and is divided into 12 steps, with the step width being 1 month, for example. Therefore, the calculation of a measure (for example, Sales) for the year returns 12 values corresponding to the number of steps.
