Introduction to process instance management
Process instances that you no longer want to view can be aggregated into one process instance or deleted from the PPM database. Use the process tree or additional filters to define the process instances you no longer need.
For example, this is recommended when you have completed your analysis for a specific period or field and no longer require the individual process instances. By aggregating or deleting process instances you reduce the size of the database and enhance the performance of your PPM system.
Prerequisite: You have the Process instance aggregation function privilege.
