Assign function privileges
You can use function privileges to specify the functions users and user groups can execute in PPM.
Certain menu items are available only if you have the required function privilege.
You can assign function privileges only to activated PPM users and user groups.
The users in a user group are automatically assigned the function privileges for that group.
The System administration function privilege automatically assigns a user all other function privileges.
Prerequisite
You have the Privilege management function privilege.
Display the User or User groups tab.
Right-click a PPM user or user group and select Edit.
Display the Function privileges page.
A list of all function privileges is displayed. Function privileges assigned to users based on their user group membership are grayed out and cannot be disabled.
Enable all check boxes for function privileges you want to assign the user or user group.
To withdraw privileges from the user or user group, disable the check boxes for the relevant function privileges.
Click OK.
Your settings are saved in the PPM database.
