Create users and user groups
You can create new users and user groups only in central User Management. You also assign users to user groups in User Management. You also have the option to delete users and user groups here.
In PPM privilege management, you can only assign specific PPM privileges to users and user groups. Users are automatically assigned the function privileges and process access privileges of all user groups to which they are assigned. In addition, users have the function and process access privileges that were assigned to them individually. Use group assignment to assign data access privileges to PPM users.
Prerequisite
You have the Privilege management function privilege.
In User Management, you have the UMC Administrator function privilege.
Display the Base tab bar.
Click the User Management button.
User Management opens.
Specify your settings in User Management.
Click the Refresh view (
) button in the Basis tab bar.
New or deleted users and user groups, as well as changes to privileges are displayed on the Users and User groups tabs.
