Run report definitions

In the report definition, you specify which data a report is to contain, according to which criteria, and how the result is to be presented. You can display the report associated with a report definition that you are currently editing in the Editor window.

The following options are available for running a report definition:

  • If you already ran the report file before, Run (Start report) overwrites the report file automatically when the report is created.

  • Use Run under (Execute report) to create a new report file.

  • Use Run with filter (Export report filter button) to specify a filter in order to set the data range to be analyzed.
