Change analyses of inserted analysis components

You can edit the analysis settings of the analysis components inserted in your report definition. You can change the settings either directly in the XML code of the analysis or in the corresponding module.

Prerequisite

You have the Report management function privilege.

Procedure. Procedure

    In the XML code

    1. Click PPM > Configuration.

    2. Click Report definitions in the Configuration bar.

    3. Open a report definition or create a new report definition.

    4. Select an analysis component to be edited.

    5. Display the Visualization tab bar.

    6. Click Query Display query.

    7. Enter your changes.

    8. Click OK.

    Your changes to the query of the analysis component are transferred to the report definition.

    In the module

    1. Click PPM > Configuration.

    2. Click Report definitions in the Configuration bar.

    3. Open a report definition or create a new report definition.

    4. Select an analysis component to be edited.

    5. Display the Visualization tab bar.

    6. Click Display in analysis.

      The view changes to the corresponding module and displays the analysis pertaining to the component.

    7. Specify your settings.

    8. Click PPM > Configuration.

    9. Display the Visualization tab bar.

    10. Click Apply current analysis settings.

    Your changes to the query of the analysis component are transferred to the report definition.

    The settings of the favorite linked to the analysis are not changed. The favorite remains available unchanged.
