Export user-defined measures

You can export your user-defined measures from PPM as an XML file.

User-defined measures are exported recursively, which means that all user-defined measures included in the calculation of user-defined measures will be exported, as well.

If a calculation tree contains configuration favorites, only the references (paths and names) are exported, but not their definitions.

Prerequisite

You have the User-defined measure management function privilege.

Procedure. Procedure

  1. Click PPM > Configuration.

  2. Click User-defined measures in the Configuration bar.

    The Measure editor is displayed with a predefined calculation rule.

  3. Display the Base tab bar.

  4. In the User-defined measures bar, select the measures to be exported.

  5. Click Export Export.

  6. Select a directory and enter a name for the XML file.

  7. Click OK.

The selected user-defined measures are exported and available as an XML file.
