Show frequencies of ad hoc filter criteria
You can display the frequencies of ad hoc filter criteria.
This function is not available for Data analytics and Cross analytics.
The frequency indicates how often a filter criterion (dimensions/measures) occurs in the process instances. The currently set filter as well as process and data access privileges of the user are taken into account. You can also identify the frequencies of process instance-independent measures.
You can set the display of dimension values for text dimensions based on their frequency globally or for each text dimension.
The frequencies displayed always relate only to the filtered data volume.
Aggregated process instances are considered only once when determining frequencies and not with the original number of unaggregated process instances from which they resulted.
Depending on the set display type, the frequencies are displayed as figures or bars.
Frequencies cannot be displayed for time range dimensions.
When iterating using a due date related time range dimension in the analysis, the number of frequencies displayed is often wrong. You can hide the frequencies using the yellow triangle.
Display the Filters bar.
Display the Filters tab bar.
Click
Show frequencies.Specify your settings.
If the frequencies of individual criteria are not displayed, enable the Show frequencies option for each of them.
To do this, click
Display menu in the header of a filter criterion and select Show frequencies.To set the frequency of individual text dimensions, click
Display menu in the header of a filter criterion and select Set display options.Specify your settings.
The frequencies for all or for individual filter criteria are displayed.
Tip
If you enabled frequencies, the number of process instances considered in the current global filter is displayed in the status bar. You can also see the number of all existing process instances.
