Display default queries
Use default queries to start a predefined analysis and customize it in line with your requirements. In a default query, you preconfigure content and display properties, for example, dimensions and measures to be analyzed, filters, and analysis views.
You define default queries while configuring PPM clients (customizing) for process and interaction analysis. For Data analytics and Cross analytics, the option to define default queries is not available.
When you open process analysis for the first time, the default query is displayed immediately. However, you can open the default query defined for the analysis realm at any time.
If you are using the PPM demo database, predefined default queries are available. When you open process analysis in a PPM session for the first time a default query for the Processes process type group is displayed.
Open one of the Process analysis or Interaction analysis analysis realms or one of the Instance controlling or Improvement modules.
Display the Processes bar.
Right-click the process tree's root element.
Click Display default query in the pop-up menu.
When you open the interaction analysis, click Start.
The default query defined for the analysis realm is displayed.
You can now adapt the default query to meet your requirements.
