Quickly find entries in lists and tree structures
You can use the keyboard to quickly find entries in various bars, certain dialog boxes, and tables.

Click the first entry in the interface element that you want to search, for example, the first row in a table.
Then enter the first few letters of the word you want to find.
The selection will jump to the first position that begins with the letter combination you entered.
In some interface elements, such as the Dimensions and Measures bars, you can use custom search boxes to browse the list displayed.
