Data point
Point in a chart or table, from which the value of a measure for a specific combination of dimension values originates.
In tables, a data point corresponds to a cell. In charts, a data point corresponds to a point in the chart at which a measure value is shown. For example, in a bar chart this means a bar, or in a line chart, a point on a line. If you move the mouse pointer over a data point in a chart, the value of the measures and dimensions for this point is displayed.
