Customizing
Before you can import data from a source system into PPM, you need to define analysis criteria, for example, process types, measures, dimensions, and calculation rules, etc., and then set up a configuration for the PPM system. This process is referred to as customizing. Customizing is performed for only one client. Once customizing has been completed, a set of specific XML configuration files is available, which can be used to initialize the PPM system.
