How to identify identical objects, connections, and attributes
Various equality criteria are applied to identify identical objects, connections, and attributes.
Equality of functions
Functions are identical if their names are identical. The spelling is case-sensitive.
In your PPM system configuration, you can also set the names of the executing organizational units to be considered as equality criteria.
Equality of organizational units
Organizational units are identical if their names are identical and if they are assigned to the same function. The spelling is case-sensitive.
Equality of events
Events are identical if their names are identical. The spelling is case-sensitive. If the events have preceding and/or following functions, at least one of the functions preceding or following the events must be identical. Possible rules between events and functions are not taken into account in the equality check.
Equality of connections
Connections are identical if they have the same connection type and their source and target objects are identical.
Equality of attributes
Attributes are identical if they are of the same attribute type, if the attribute values match, and if the attribute values are located at the same object. Attribute names are case-sensitive.
