Assign document template

You can assign your report definition a document template with predefined settings.

In the document template, you can define styles, page settings, a cover page, and images placed in header and footer.

If sections with individual page settings are defined in your report definition, these sections are not affected by assigning a document template.

If the document template contains a cover page the cover page is displayed in the report definition. In this case, the cover page cannot be edited.

Prerequisite

You have the Report management function privilege.

Procedure. Procedure

  1. Click PPM > Configuration.

  2. Click Report definitions in the Configuration bar.

  3. Open a report definition or create a new report definition.

  4. Display the Format tab bar.

  5. Click Apply template Assign document template.

  6. Specify your settings.

  7. Click OK.

The settings of the selected document template are applied and displayed in your report definition.

Settings applied from the document template cannot be changed in your report definition. Fixed images from header and footer are displayed in addition to any images that already exist in your report definition. If you want to modify template settings, you must edit the document template.
