Insert data fields in reports

You can insert data fields in sections of your report.

Data fields are used as placeholders for changing data and is automatically updated, for example, Measure values or Date. Data fields insert the relevant current data instead of text when running the report definition. If you already inserted favorites in the section, you can display additional data fields including the data of the favorites.

Prerequisite

You have the Report management function privilege.

Procedure. Procedure

  1. Click PPM > Configuration.

  2. Click Report definitions in the Configuration bar.

  3. Open a report definition or create a new report definition.

  4. Click the section or row where you want to insert an element.

  5. Display the Insert tab bar.

  6. Click Data field Data field.

  7. Specify your settings.

  8. Click OK.

The data field is displayed in the selected section or row of the report definition.

If you want to insert multiple elements you can use a formatting table to arrange the elements.
