Insert measures in the calculation rule

You can insert measures as operands in the calculation rule for user-defined measures.

Prerequisite

You have the User-defined measure management function privilege.

Procedure. Procedure

  1. Open a user-defined measure for editing in the Measure editor.

  2. Click Measure in the Operands bar and drag the measure onto an operator in the measure tree.

  3. Select measure

    1. Select a measure group to limit the selection of measures.

    2. Click a measure in the Measures box.

  4. Set usage

    1. Activate the Usage page.

    2. Select the relevant usage.

  5. Set filter

    1. Activate the Filter page.

    2. Select a measure or dimension and click Button right Add filter.

    3. Set a filter.

  6. Set replacement rule

    1. Activate the Replacement rule page.

    2. Click button_new Add replacement rule.

    3. Select a source dimension.

    4. Select a target dimension.

  7. Click OK.

The calculation rule is modified in line with your settings. Your changes are available to other PPM users as soon as you refresh the display.
