Create user-defined measures

In PPM, you can use calculation rules to also create user-defined measures based on existing measures.

You can create user-defined measures in the Measure editor in the Configuration module. The measure definition is shown as a tree structure.

Prerequisite

You have the User-defined measure management function privilege.

Procedure. Procedure
  1. Click PPM > Configuration.

  2. Click User-defined measures in the Configuration bar.

    The Measure editor is displayed with a predefined calculation rule.

  3. Display the Base tab bar.

  4. Click Edit Edit.

    Now you can work with the Measure editor.

  5. Click New document Create measure.

  6. Specify your settings and click Finish.

    Use the wizard to assign your user-defined measure to particular process instances and relations, and enter the basic settings.

In the editor window, the root element of the tree structure is displayed with the name you set for your user-defined measure. The new user-defined measure is available in the User-defined measures bar.

Various elements for defining the calculation rule of your user-defined measure are available in the Operands and Operators bars.
