Change color assignment of analysis values

You can change the color assignment for the graphical display of measure values for individual axes. If an axis contains multiple measures or comparison values, you can set the color assignment for each measure.

Prerequisite

Your analysis contains only one dimension.

Procedure. Procedure

  1. Open an analysis.

  2. Display the Base tab bar.

  3. Click button_properties Display options.

  4. Display the Chart settings/Colors page.

  5. In the Color for data points box, set the color for a measure or comparison value.

    1. Click the color selection field after the Color for "<name of the measure>" option.

    2. Click the color selection field after the Color for "<name of the comparison value>" option.

  6. Select a color and click OK.

  7. Click OK.

The color assignment is saved and the chart display is adjusted accordingly.

Tip

If you want to reset the color assignment of all measures and comparison values to their default values, right-click the chart background and select Reset color assignment.

If you want to highlight in color only specific data points, you need to assign the color using the pop-up menu of the chart.
