Change color assignment of individual data points
You can change the color assignment of individual data points if multiple dimensions are displayed in a chart. If your analysis contains more than one dimension or if you want to highlight in color only particular data points (for example, individual columns) in color, you can set the color of the measure value using the pop-up menu.
Your column chart displays the Number of processes measure of the Time dimension in steps of months and you want to highlight in color the column for the January dimension step.
Your 3D line chart displays the Number of processes measure and the Process cycle time and Process type dimensions and you want to highlight in color the measure values for the Process cycle time dimension.
Right-click a data point in the chart and select Edit color assignment.
Set the color.
If the measure value has already been assigned a color, you can reset the color to the default value by clicking Delete color assignment.
Click OK.
The color assignment is saved and the chart display is adjusted accordingly. The color assignment is saved and is also used to display the value in all other charts.
Tip
If you want to reset the color assignment of all measure values to their default values, right-click the chart background and select Reset color assignment.
