Combine dimension values into one dimension step

To gain an improved overview of your chart, you can combine multiple dimension steps returning small measures into one dimension step. This combines all dimension steps whose measure values are below a particular threshold.

This option is available for assessment and pie charts.

Prerequisite

You have opened an assessment or pie chart.

Procedure. Procedure

  1. Click button_properties Display options.

  2. Display the Dimensions page.

  3. Enable the Combine dimension steps option.

  4. Name the new dimension step.

  5. Specify a threshold.

  6. Click OK.

In your chart, the dimension steps with measure values below the set threshold are combined.
