Display data points as a line or an area
You can display data points for dimension values or dimension-related comparison values as a line or an area in two-dimensional charts.
Prerequisites
In your two-dimensional chart, you are using one measure and one dimension.
Right-click a data point and select Change display format/Line or Change display format/Area.
The data point will be represented as a line or an area.
To display the data point in its original form again, right-click the line or area and select Change display format/Data point.
You are analyzing the process cycle times of the plants belonging to your company in a two-dimensional bar chart. If you display the data point for the Hamburg plant as a line, you can see at a glance how the process cycle times for the other plants compare with Hamburg.
