Use interactive filter

You can filter dimension values interactively in the charts and tables of your multi-panel analysis.

Interactive filtering uses a selected value range for any individual panel in the current multi-panel analysis as a filter in the remaining individual queries. The original measure values in the dependent panels are displayed in gray for comparison.

Depending on the display type, you can select the dimension values in different ways.

In a pie chart, you can click one or more of the segments of the pie to select the relevant dimension values.

In a 2D chart, you can use the selection frame to select a range of dimension values.



Prerequisite

You are displaying a multi-panel analysis.

Procedure. Procedure

  1. Display the Visualization tab bar.

  2. Click button_interactive_filter Interactive filtering.

    This activates interactive filtering mode.

  3. Click the title bar of a panel.

    This activates the panel.

  4. Select the dimension values that you want to use as a filter.

The remaining queries will automatically be filtered based on the selected dimension values.

Tip

To delete the set interactive filter, click another query view.

To deactivate interactive filtering mode, click button_interactive_filter Interactive filtering again.
