Set ad hoc filter
You can set each filter criterion displayed as a filter for your current analysis in the Filter bar.
Depending on the dimension or measure type, you can select particular values, define an expression, or specify periods by which you want to filter.
The filter settings are automatically transferred to the Settings bar.
Prerequisite
You have selected one or more filter criteria.
Display the Filters bar.
Click
Display menu for a filter criterion you want to edit.Click Edit filter.
Specify your settings.
Your settings are applied directly to your current analysis.
Depending on the type of filter criterion, your settings are displayed as time values, an expression, a list, or a tree.
Depending on the selected display type, the filter values are displayed in the compact view or slider view.
Tip
You can also set the filter criteria by directly selecting filter values or periods displayed in the relevant view type (for example, tree view).
