Create or change result filter

In individual analyses you can set result filters for the measures you use and their comparison values. Result filters limit the number of data points that are displayed in the analysis.

For one measure, you can set consecutive result filters for the measure value and for one or more comparison values.

Prerequisite

In your analysis, use measure and comparison values for which you want to set the result filter.

Procedure. Procedure
  1. Open an analysis.

  2. Display the Settings bar.

  3. Right-click a measure in the Settings bar and select Edit result filter.

  4. If you have shown one or more comparison values, specify whether the result filter relates to the measure or a comparison value by clicking the entry you want.

  5. Define the measure values you wish to include in the filter:

    1. Enter the upper and lower limit of the value range. If you enter only one limit, the filter will be created as an open value range.

    2. For measures with units you should also select a unit.

    3. Click OK.

  6. To combine individual filters, click the Combine filters button. You have the following options:

    Add filter expression

    1. Click New document Add filter expression.

    2. Define the filter expression you want to add.

    3. Click OK.The filter expressions are linked by OR.

      Edit filter expression

    4. Select a filter expression from the list.

    5. Click Edit Edit filter expression.

    6. Edit the filter expression.

    7. Click OK.

      Delete filter expression

    8. Select a filter expression from the list.

    9. Click button_delete Delete filter expression.

    10. Click OK.

The result filter is displayed on the Settings bar below the selected measure. The changed settings are applied to your current analysis. Only data points that correspond to the set result filter are displayed.
