Set step width for time range dimensions

You can specify a step width for time range dimensions in your current analysis.

For interval-based time range dimensions, each iteration step is interpreted as a time range (as with time dimensions).

For point in time-related time range dimensions, each iteration step is interpreted as a point in time.

If only open time intervals (that is, without end time) exist, either the current date or the start time of a dimension value is applied to the last step as a reference point. The reference point furthest away in the future will be applied, as long as it is later than the current date.

Prerequisite

Your analysis includes a time range dimension.

Procedure. Procedure

  2. Display the Settings bar.

  3. Right-click the relevant dimension.

  4. Click Set step width.

  5. Specify your settings.
