Display distribution of measures across process or function instances
You can use a distribution chart or scatter chart to identify outliers and suspected deviations for process or function instances.
In a distribution chart, you can display the frequency distribution of a distributable measure's values for a number of process or function instances. With a scatter chart, you can represent the context of two distributable measures for a number of process or function instances.
Depending on the number of measures used, your analysis is displayed in a distribution or a scatter chart.
If your current analysis contains a single distributable measure, the distribution is displayed in a distribution chart.
If your current analysis contains two distributable measures, the distribution is displayed in a scatter chart.
If your current analysis contains more than two distributable measures or none at all, you can set the relevant measures.
Display the Query tab bar.
Click
Show distribution in the tab bar.Select the measures for which you want to display a distribution.
The distribution of the Number of processes measure or the Number of functions measure across the individual value ranges of the set measure is displayed in a distribution chart. The distribution of undistributable measures is displayed in a scatter chart.
Tip
Alternatively, you can also right-click a measure in your current analysis and select Show distribution.
