Copy favorites path and favorites folder path
You can copy the path of a favorite or favorite folder to the clipboard.
You can use the copied paths to define a query interface (query API), for example.
The following formats are available.
Plain text (favorites and folders)
Copy URL for query interface (favorites and folders)
If you copy the path of a favorites folder the paths of the included folders and favorites are output as a list in the output file (XML file). Content of the subordinate folders (recursive) are not included.
Prerequisite
You have the required access privileges for the relevant favorites.
Right-click a favorite or favorites folder in the Favorites bar.
In the pop-up menu, select a format under Copy path as to be used for copying the path.
The path is copied in the selected format to the clipboard.
Similarly, you can copy the URLs (UTF-8) of reports.
With the option Use in dashboard you can copy the favorite's path and use it in an ARIS dashboard.
