Create template favorite

With Template favorites, you can permanently save specific settings for favorites and create new favorites based on those settings.

In a template, you specify only those parameters that you want to replace in a favorite or a current query. The settings you entered for a query are copied to the template when the corresponding template content is selected in the properties of the favorite. A default filter that relates to one specific process type only is not included in the template. You can set the following properties in the favorites template:

  • Result filter

  • Color assignment

  • Filter

  • Step widths

  • Thresholds

  • Relation Explorer and Communication analysis layout

  • Default formats

You can also provide templates in the Shared favorites folder.

You cannot create template favorites for multi-panel analyses and Data analytics.

Prerequisite

You have the Favorites administration function privilege.

Procedure. Procedure

  1. Open an analysis.

  2. Specify the settings you want to save as favorites.

  3. Display the Base tab bar.

  4. Click Bookmar Create favorite.

  5. Activate the Extended settings tab.

  6. Enable the Template favorite option.

  7. Activate at least one of the favorites properties listed.

  8. Click OK.

The template favorite is saved and displayed in the shared favorites folder selected.

Template favorites are indicated by the icon_favorite_leaf_shared_template symbol.

You can create a new favorite based on a template.
