Use the PPM start page
The PPM start page provides quick and easy access to your analyses. For example, you can use the start page to start new analyses, access recently used favorites, and launch external applications.
The start page is always open and is therefore always available for you to quickly access your analyses.

From the PPM start page, you can easily start a process analysis.
Under Analysis realms, double-click Process analysis.
Process analysis opens as an analysis realm with a preconfigured default analysis on a separate tab.
The preconfigured analysis serves as a basis for your own analysis. You can now adapt it to meet your requirements.
From the Home page, you can easily start an interaction analysis.
Under Analysis realms, double-click Interaction analysis.
Interaction analysis opens as an analysis realm on a separate tab.
You can now select the type of analysis you want to perform. If you want to use a preconfigured default analysis as a basis for your analysis, please select Start. You can now adapt the default analysis to meet your requirements.
On the PPM start page, you can quickly access Data analytics and Cross analytics. Various, individual analysis realms are available for Data analytics and Cross analytics. These analysis realms have their own name and data basis, and they provide various criteria for your analyses.
Under Analysis realms, double-click a Data analytics or Cross analytics analysis realm.

You can now create your own analyses or call existing analyses in the analysis realm.
On the PPM start page, you can quickly access Data analytics and Cross analytics. Various, individual analysis realms are available for Data analytics and Cross analytics. These analysis realms have their own name and data basis, and they provide various criteria for your analyses.
Under Analysis realms, double-click a Data analytics or Cross analytics analysis realm.

You can now create your own analyses or call existing analyses in the analysis realm.
On the PPM start page, you can display your queries saved as favorites. Private and shared favorites are available and you can also access your recently used favorites.
Favorites available for a specific analysis realm are highlighted in color when you select the associated analysis realm. Favorites that are not available for the selected analysis realm are grayed out, but still accessible.
If necessary, select an analysis realm to filter associated favorites.
Under Favorites, display one of the tabs Last open, Private favorites, or Shared favorites.
Double-click a favorite.
The analysis pertaining to the favorite selected is displayed in the corresponding analysis realm.
Tip
Use the navigation path to switch between the individual favorites folders.
The PPM start page provides various wizards that support you in configuring your analyses. You can access all available wizards under Actions.
The selection of analysis wizards provided in PPM depends on the relations that are customized for your current PPM client. This means, that only with the following relations available in PPM the appropriate analysis wizards are provided.
ORG-ORG-Relation the Communication Network and the Relation Explorer is available.
FUCTION-ORG Relation or an ORG-FUNCTION-Relation the Relation Explorer and the Activity analysis is available.
FUNCTION-FUNCTION-Relation, the Function flow and the Activity analysis is available.
Select an analysis realm in which you want to create your analysis.
Under Actions, double-click one of the wizards listed in order to launch it.
If you want to view more wizards, click More wizards.
Double-click a wizard.
The selected wizard is launched.
After exiting the wizard your analysis will be displayed in the relevant analysis realm. You can then further customize your analysis.
You can call your reports and display them in the file format selected. You can run a report with filters.
In the Your reports list, click a report.
If you want to run a report with an additional filter, right-click a report and click Run report with filter.
The selected report is displayed.
